Some questions concerning my new home

I have a new home being built and (http://maplered.com) the Granite (http://tanbrown.org) for the kitchen was just installed this week. The builder calls it Brown Pearl but the place where we picked it out called it Cafe Imperial Anyway, I went to look at it today and (http://maplered.com) I don't know if I like what I see First off, I am not sure if they are done yet but the finish is pretty dull and (http://maplered.com) the seams are fairly noticeable. Do they need to polish and (http://maplered.com) seal it first for it to look right Second, the edges have lines running down the length of the edge. I have a 1 & 1/2" bullnose edge. Again, will this go away with polishing and (http://maplered.com) sealing If anyone has any answers it would be greatly appreciated
